Quotes answered at eleven at night
An independent garage was losing quote requests to whoever answered first. We built an assistant that captures the vehicle, the symptom and the urgency, then books the diagnostic.
The problem
The owner described the problem precisely: people do not think about their car during business hours. They think about it at ten at night, they message three garages, and they go with the one that replies first.
Voicemail was losing that race every time, and a plain contact form was not much better, because the messages that arrived were too vague to quote from without a round trip.
What we did
The assistant knows the garage's actual service catalogue and its real prices for the fixed-price work, so it can quote an oil change or brake pads outright instead of promising that somebody will be in touch.
For anything that genuinely needs to be seen, it collects the make, model, year, the symptom in the customer's own words, and how urgent it is, then offers diagnostic slots from the real calendar. The owner opens one summary in the morning instead of nine voicemails. When a question is outside the catalogue it says so plainly and takes a callback number, which the owner insisted on and was right about.
What changed
About forty percent of new work now begins in a conversation that happened after closing time, and most of those conversations end with a booked slot rather than a promise to call back.
The owner's own measure is that he stopped losing customers to the garage down the street purely on response time.
